Home buyers tax credit is a credit given to new home buyers. This was passed by congress to try to help the housing market, to spur people to buy homes. This credit is worth $8,000, plus a $6,500 move up credit that have been in their home for 5 year within the last eight years and are coming here to be a repeat buyer
